A private family in Victoria BC need a Permanent full time caregiver for two young adult with disabilities .Ages are 28 and 35 years old .

28 years old is deaf , mute and partially blind 

35 years old functions at a 3 year old level and transitions very slowly 

$19 per hour , 40 hours per week, flexible shift , 2 flexible days  off

Language required: Ability to speak , read and understand English so that they can work on their own without being supervised . Medical , security and references is required. 

This a permanent position but schedules varies according to the needs of the employer. Overtime paid after 40 hours .

Duties and responsibilities:

Supervise and care for 2 young adult, disabled male with medical conditions in the employers home.

 Assist with all his activities of daily living including personal care such as gtube feeding  bathing , walking , exercise , dressing , personal hygiene, aid in medication , accompany to medical appointments and outings , including travelling. Plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals with employer or independently . perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Assist with physiology and occupational therapies and activities. perform light housekeeping and home management duties under direction of employer/employer representative .
