CareGo Tek is a high tech, rapid growth

software, automation, vision tech, machine learning, AI, etc. We are looking for highly motivated,
enthusiastic individuals who want to make an impact in our engineering team and
our product TELIA. The ideal candidate
should not only have a strong aptitude for mechanical engineering and design,
they would also have an interest in and understanding of how the mechanical
design works in tandem with electrical controls, PLCs, software engineering as
well as a strong interest in developing new technologies. CareGo Tek is furthering its global expansion,
so an understanding of EU standards and requirements as well as Australian Standards
would be a significant advantage.

expect from your first 6 months:

new devices for very unique customer problems, lifting big heavy materials,
specifically metals;

Coordinate cross-functionally
with a diverse skill set to ensure projects and TELIA product offering delivers
the best in high tech automation and optimization;
·
Gaining knowledge and understanding
of the TELIA system, the impact mechanical design has on the automation and the
systems side to bring together a complete Industry 4.0 intralogistics solution
for our clients.
What you can expect from your next 6
months:
·
Become the subject matter
expert on the mechanical aspect of TELIA;
·
Develop and design complete
unique lifting/handling systems for our client’s unique problems;
·
Work closely with the
electrical controls group to design locations for the necessary automation
systems and new technologies, placement, ensuring safe guarding and redundancy,
requires understanding of metal forming and metal structures;
·
Work with R & D programs on
the next generation of TELIA, new mechanical components, new material handling
systems.
·
Build scale size prototypes
using our 3D printer lab

What you should have:
·
Master’s Degree in Mechanical
Engineering and passion for all things mechanical that move heavy stuff;
·
3+ years of experience design and
FEA simulation experience especially heavy lifting equipment;
·
Experience on heavy duty steel
structural weldment engineering and detail design;
·
Experience on heavy duty
conveyor system engineering and design, including but not limited to, CDLR
conveyor, chain conveyors etc.;
·
Experience on below-the-hook
lifting device engineering and design;
·
Extensive experience on
engineering calculation using numerical analysis using Excel, Mathcad, Matlab etc.;
·
Strong SolidWorks/ AutoCAD
experience
o Nice to have: Sketchup, Pro-engineer
·
Knowledge of CMAA, EN15011,
ASME B30.2, GD&T, ASME B30.20, ASME BTH-1, AISC A360;
·
Knowledge of manufacturing
processes and associated standards for metal forming such as milling, drilling,
lathing, and welding;
·
Methodical planner for
developing test plans and failure modes to perform FATs;
·
Excellent proven skills in technical
communication with peers and non-technical cohorts;
·
Fluent in written and spoken
English and fluency in at least one of the following languages (German, French,
Italian, Slovenian);
·
3D printer experience for
prototype build;
·
Ability to successfully work
within a high-performance Agile design / development environment;
·
Ability to move ideas successfully
from concept to production;
·
Candidate must be able and
willing to work from our company’s Corporate office in Burlington, Canada.
