Toor Drywall Ltd. located at 3494 Promontory Crescent, Abbotsford BC Canada is looking for two Drywall Installers to join their team as soon as possible.

Job Title: Drywall Installers (7284)

Job location: All over lower mainland area according to contracts/projects.

Wages: $27.50/hour

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Measure, cut and install drywall sheets and various types of ceiling systems.
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
• Fit metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
• Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound

Job Requirements:

• Secondary School education is required
• Minimum two years of previous work experience required in similar field OR completion of a three or four year's apprenticeship program in drywalling.
• Basic knowledge of English language is required
