Salary: 25.50/ hour for 40 hours per week

Job Description

Additional Skills: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)

Specific Skills:

Monitoring production staff and environment for HACCP and GMP compliance, enforce HACCP program through communication and training with production employees; Record keeping for all QC/QA forms, reports, complaints, departmental requests and assist with paperwork review; Daily review of pre-operational & during operational checks, CCP monitoring, and regular process line check/testing with assigned employees; Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis; Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures; Control process operations and machinery, Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure adherence to specifications; Review daily lot coding for all ingredients used for production and other related tasks to ensure product traceability; Perform allergen swab testing before production; Perform microbiological swabbing and testing; Any other food safety and quality control related job assigned by QA office; Reports to QA Manager and HACCP Coordinator.

Work Settings: Food processing plant

Workers Supervised: Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing
