Position: Child Care Worker - Daycare

Wage: $17.00 Hourly, for minimum 30 Hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Requirements: 

- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

- Experience an asset

Job Duties: 

- Cooperate with early childhood educators to carry out programs for developing the physical, cognitive, emotional and social skills of children. 

- Lead young children's activities, tell stories, teach songs and prepare craft materials.

- Prepare and serve snacks

- Help children eat, dress and use the toilet

- Write down observations about the children in class for the supervisors

- Discuss children's progress and challenges with other educators or supervisors.  

- Maintain and clean daycare equipment.
