Duties:
You will be primarily working with crops and operating equipment.
Operate sprayer on our 2000 hectare farm
Load the sprayer with water and the correct amount of herbicide
Record weather conditions and check the rates of application with the farm manager or agronomist
Record details after finishing spraying each field
Maintenance of Sprayer equipment
Crop planning and rotation
Scout crops and monitor plant health - disease, pests and nutrition
Harvesting crops
Keep equipment clean and in good condition

Winter work will consist of machinery upkeep. Bringing crop to buyers. General help with winterizing equipment.

Weekend work will be required during peak seasons.
Physical farm work lifting up to 25 kgs.
Must be able to work well with other employees.
Asset to have class #1, but willing to help obtain.
