Salary: $16.75 per hour
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hrs/week

6055 Boulevard Holdings Ltd. O/A Southern Delicacy opened in 2018. "Focusing on the best ingredients and flavors is the philosophy and goal of Southern Delicacy. Our chefs have been mastering Southern Chinese cuisine for over 30 years, but they also skillfully blend various cooking techniques from Northern Chinese and Asian cuisines to create authentic dishes with a variety of Asian flavors to satisfy the taste buds of our diners. Southern Delicacy is a great place for families, friends and business gatherings. We are looking for a new team member who can bring positive vibes and excellent team work skills to our operations to ensure our operation runs smoothly for our customers.

Duties:

• Help around the kitchen including washing, peeling and cutting fruits and vegetables
• Clear and clean tables and trays from dining area
• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposable units
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Handle and store cleaning products
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
• May help in packing online orders to speed up the process
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:
• Some related experience is an asset.
• Able to multi-task efficiently.
• Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Shift work is required including evening, weekends and holidays.
• Team player with an amazing work ethic.
• Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
